Lincoln High Schoolers Serve Their Community, One Ballgame at a Time

Saturday morning was a special one for Lincoln High School Key Club members as nearly a dozen students volunteered their time at the Kiwanis Miracle League at Principal Park.

Key Clubbers partnered one-on-one with Miracle League players as their “buddies,” helping them hit, catch, field, throw, and enjoy a day at the ballpark. The Kiwanis Miracle League creates an inclusive baseball experience where every player gets a chance to play, every player gets on base, and every player gets to celebrate a win.
Beyond the game itself, the event was an opportunity for students to build connections, practice leadership through service, and experience firsthand the joy that comes from making someone else’s day a little brighter.
We encourage clubs to take inspiration from Lincoln High by finding ways to show up, serve alongside others, and help make your community a better place.

Lincoln High School are grateful for Bob Mitchell and Jan Burch for inviting them the ballgame and giving their students the opportunity to be part of the Miracle League family.
