Key Club members around the world are learning how to lead and stand for what’s right through service and volunteerism. In partnership with their local Kiwanis club, high school students are making a positive impact as they serve others in their schools and communities.

Everyone's Key Club story is different. Here is Molly Storm's story!

Molly Storm, Area 3 Lieutenant Governor

Thinking back to 7th grade I can remember sitting in my class listening to the announcements and hearing about this club called Builder's Club. Curious and knowing nothing about it I was hooked, not because of the building aspect but what came next. That's when they explained how it's a service organization that focuses on helping those in our school and community. Without a doubt I knew I was joining. My next two years in Builder's Club were fun, but then I was introduced to Key Club! I am in my 4th year of Key Club and it only keeps getting better. The biggest lesson I've ever learned through this impactful organization actually happened at Key Leader my Freshman year. Being the only person there from my school and feeling alone, I realized that instead of being closed off and shy, to be myself and have the time of my life in this short weekend. Knowing I may never see most of the people there again I did just that and have never regretted it. Since then I have used that lesson in more times than I can count. My favorite time being running for my position on the District Board. My experience on the Board has been unforgettable and led me to new experiences. I've met new people and had the chance to take part in an international organization on a level higher than my own club. Key Club has changed my life and I wouldn't change my experience for the world.
